The Butterfly Way offers innovative and comprehensive programs utilizing
Masters Level Clinicians for education that combines evidence-based
practices with the principles of the renowned 12-step model, offering women a
pathway to lasting recovery to help break the cycle of addiction. The Butterfly
Way’s included program offers a proven framework for individuals to
overcome addiction and develop the necessary tools for long-term sobriety.
With a focus on personal accountability, self-reflection, education,
mindfulness, meditation, and peer support, individuals embark on a journey of
self-discovery and positive change. Our mission is to help women find
long-term health and happiness.
By embracing three components of mindfulness in recovery—present-moment awareness, acceptance and non-judgment, and intentional action—individuals can cultivate a deeper connection with themselves, navigate challenges with resilience, and make conscious choices that support ongoing sobriety and well-being. Mindfulness has been used for decades as a way of categorizing your thoughts and improving behavior.
The Butterfly Way’s certified
yoga instruction offers “Bottom-Up” techniques as well as Polyvagal Informed Yoga and The Safe and Sound Protocol by Stephen Porges. These approaches focus on fostering body awareness and a sense of safety, which enriches the coaching experience for clients. Our mission is to support women in thriving beyond their struggles with recovery, guiding them to uncover their inner voice, cultivate courage, and express their true selves. Yoga is offered twice a week for all ‘butterflies’ in our residential yoga studio.
Life Skills Development:
We help women acquire the skills to approach their sober lifestyles
with confidence.
Individual Coaching:
Our Life & Sober Coach meets weekly, one-on-one with our clients to address their specific needs, challenges, and provides the framework for active recovery
and life skills.
Group Support Sessions:
Professional and separate peer-led groups provide extensive opportunities for growth through support, encouragement, and accountability.
Using the Passion Project method, yoga and meditation, the workshop guides clients to recapture hope that has been lost and to embrace present awareness to rediscover who they truly are. Our program coordinator integrates this workshop into group therapy to spark meaningful conversations and facilitate personal exploration.
By integrating the 12-step program into our comprehensive approach to recovery, we ensure that women receive the holistic care they need to break free from addiction. At The Butterfly Way, we are committed to providing the support, guidance, and resources necessary for individuals to reclaim their lives and build a brighter future.
Our "butterflies" play a vibrant role in the recovery community throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. They engage in a variety of activities, including home group events, recovery conferences, karaoke nights, comedy shows, round-ups, fitness classes, and so much more!
